ATF
Association Foundation
The ATF Association (ATFA), www.atfassociation.org, created The Foundation in 2012, to provide aid and financial assistance to members of our ATF “family” in need, as well as survivors of members in times of stress, financial difficulty or impoverishment. The Foundation also provides assistance to dependents of deceased law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the enforcement of federal, state or local laws. In addition, college scholarships are offered to the children and grandchildren of ATFA members based on financial need, academic achievement, and leadership qualities. Since 2016, the Foundation helped over one hundred ATF Family members in need.
Scholarships are offered to members and the children and grandchildren of members based on financial need, academic achievement and leadership qualities, however, none of the criteria is weighted more than another.
The Foundation has been able to provide financial support since it was founded in 2012. Contributions and donations to the Foundation are the key to the continued success and availability of the crisis and scholarship programs. You are encouraged to consider supportive donations to an organization, which has done so much for those who have performed so unselfishly, without individual recognition.
The Internal Revenue Service has determined the ATFA Foundation to be qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization, and it qualified for tax-exempt donations. We currently offer two methods for accepting donations, written check and PayPal.
